Reality Show Jinx

I have a jinx, the reality show jinx. The contestant whom I'll support/want to win will never win.

For the record, read below:

In Nach Baliye 1, I was supporting Varun-Rajeshwari and they didn't won.

Nach Baliye 2, Bakhtiyar - Tanaaz couldn't win though Tina-Hussain were my second favorite.

Nach Baliye 3, Rakhi and Abhishek couldn't win.

After that judges quality dropped dramatically and Thank God, I never ever watched Nach Baliye again. :)



Jhalak Dikhla Ja:

I didn't watched season 1.

In season 2 I was supporting Sandhya Mridul.

In season 3 I was supporting Gauhar Khan.

I don't even want to talk about LPB :(

Last year in Big Boss 2, I wanted Rahul to win. :)

3 is my lucky number and big boss 3 broke my jinx of reality shows.

This is the first time happening in any of the reality shows that some one I supported/thought actually won.

Yes, I really wanted vindoo to win as he was the only one who was entertaining. Most of the rest were plain boring or irritating. Other then him, I liked Poonam as well. I was happy when this reality show ended. Finally, my contestant won.

Vindoo Dara Singh New Big Boss Winner

At last confidence of Vindoo Singh proves correct. Vindoo had won Big Boss and is winner of season-3.

Pravesh is runner up, where as Poonam finished as second runner up.

It was great end for Vindoo as he had won "Bade Dil Wala" also and got Chevrolet car.

Big Boss - I also need 1 crore per month

Recently I was watching one of the episodes of Big Boss. Co-contestants asked Bakhtiyar how much money according to him is sufficient for one month and he answered one crore. Did I heard that correctly? Does he really mean 1 crore per month, that is a one followed by seven zeroes?

Do you really need that much money to be happy? Well that’s what he wants and I of course should not be judging him. But this conversation really made me think about this. How much money do I need to be happy or is it really money that is going to make me happy or is it am I really not happy currently? Well if its money that can make me or him or any of you happy, then we should be saving ours as well. In that case, why these celebrities expect that some one should actually waste their 3 bucks and vote for them?

I have never voted in any of the reality shows and just want to share my opinion on all this. Channels manipulate lots of things for TRP and other benefits. So, please just enjoy the TV and don’t waste your hard earned money so that some celebrity or channel can make 1 crore rupees per month, yes that’s 7 zeroes after one.

Reality Shows Ratings: Week 12-18 Dec

Dance India Dance, as already reported opens Huge. Raj Pichhle Janam Ka also managed decent TRP in second week also.

Zee TV: Dance India Dance- opens huge

Dance reality show on channel zee, opens to huge response. Both, Friday and Satureday episodes registered TRP of 3.9 and 4.1 respectively. This huge response has gotten despite One Day match between Inida and Sri Lanka on Friday.

Dance India Dance, was hugely popular ,last year also. Another important thing is that right now only prilimiary episodes of audition are telecasting.

Zee has another reasonto rejoice as her drama serial "PAVITA RISHTA" got a TRP of over 6 and became number one show.

Colors Big Boss Season 3: Reality!

Sorry, I am not following Bigg Boss anymore. But I wanted to post a personal opinion. I strongly believe that we should not be voting for any of the reality shows as we are always taken for a ride by the director/producer of the shows. If possible we should campaign for not voting for anyone. Last best example of how our votes matter is LPB; have we forgotten so early?

If still we have to vote to cure our itching to vote, we are given three choices.

Pravesh Rana! I used to like him, till his fight with Vindoo, because of his talent. He seems to have a balanced mind and good acting skills. But he should have shown respect to other house members. He has shown disrespect to seniors in the trade and even to all women in the show. He forgot that he is in advantageous position of being a late entrant on the show and started commenting on every one's character. Even I would be the first person to hate Vindoo, I still would not support Pravesh to win. It will also be unfair, as he joined them after 6 weeks. I observe many hate comments for him after the food disposal episode. I have missed it! Now this disclosure by India Forum which is not very unrealistic to not be true.

Regarding Vindoo, at least I have given upon him. He needs to learn manners first before coming out in public, may his father can help in this. He is an inspiration for brainless, arrogant, ill-mannered people. He makes such people feel that they can also do it. His arrogance has reached a height when he was enjoying the favour by Bigg Boss observing the housemates from outside and answering to each and every line of them as if he has become the God. If tears are the proof of innocence then all TV actresses are the most innocent creatures on the earth.

So we are now left with no choice but Poonam. She is badly behind the title. And she thinks she will win too. Because she is woman; because she is a star; has acted in 100s of films(she told once), like Dil bole hadipa and so on; because she has left her husband to set example as Indian women; because she will have a better carrier in next life if she wins this and for so many other such reasons. This after all senior citizen special season of Bigg Boss!

Big Boss 3: Shocking Revelations By India Forums

India Forums , today put an article , which discuss behaviour of Pravesh Rana. It reveals that Pravesh is backed by company, who is also partner of Big Boss and taking profit from earnings. This company is voting for Pravesh.

So does entry of Pravesh by show , it self a big drama. Look like he is entered in show by company to latter on use him for advertising and cash on him.

So is winner of Big Boss is also pre decided and Pravesh Rana will be declared as winner.

In yesterday episode, he himself created scene by calling both other as fake and then tried to play drama of aam adami.

By this act, does he want to prove that his win will be real and after seeing his angry young man image , aam janta has voted for him.

Is this strategy of Channel and organisers also, so that no one can latter on question ,Pravesh winning show?

When Claudia was given a hand granade( Was that really grande) to save one and make him finalist, it looked absurd. But now as time passes and things becoming clearer, it also look like strategy of channel to make Pravesh journey safe.

Colors Big Boss 3: Biggest Jerk of Show

Pravesh Rana is slowly turning out as biggest jerk of Big Boss-3. His yesterday behavior once again proved that guy deserves nothing in life as such. His attitude sucks big time.

Why all knee jerk reactions? Just to get vote of viewer by showing himself as one of them and gaining sympathy. He is trying to build a case of “US or Them”. By clubbing himself with aam janta, he wants “US”- aam janta to teach lesson to rich and spoiled celebrities.

But actually he wants is to use public to become one of “Them”. But he forget that aam Public is not that fool and cannot judge behavior. Lady, who remained calm and even showed real courtesy, is also not spared by him.

Does Big Boss has guts to throw this guy out of house for doing stupid thing; he had done in previous episode?

Colors Big Boss 3: Bhakhtiyaar Quits

In another unexpected developmen, Bhakhtyaar quit show. Big boss given option to take 10 lakh rupees and quit show. Bhakhtyaar accepted proposal.

Vindoo asserted that Bhakhtyaar knows he will not win and thus he had accepted proposal.

Now only three contestants have left in show for winning title.

Winner will be declear on coming Satureday.

After Bakhtyaar left, tussle between Vindoo and Pravesh has been intensified for title and both are trying best to pull other down and winning show.

Will Poonam proves her self as darkhorse? Just wait till Satureday

Reality Shows Ratings- 6 -12 Dec, 2009

Raj Pichhle Janam Ka, had buzz among viewers. How this show had sustained after that, will be interesting to see.

Perfect Bride, grand finale had just got average rating. Just Remember Rakhi Ka swaymbar Finale. That show has got rating of 6+. So what happened thar first real wedding of star plus had such poor ratings. Answer is simple: Viewers had doubt about Star Plus credebility. Viewers knew that Star Plus had already chosen winner and final was just formality. Even wedding in show was lame affair.
