Lux Perfect Bride: Who Should Win?

We all know that time has changed. Marriage does not hold the same meaning for many now as it used to in older days. Sacredness is now missing in marriage and institution is itself no longer a lifelong commitment to many. Rise in divorce even in small towns and villages are example of this trend.

Star plus current reality show on marriage “Prefect Bride”, raises many questions.

Girls, who can participate in show, are not some simple innocent girls who cannot take decisions in life and even when they marry to bad guy, then also they will continue their relation. These girls are strong personalities and when they can choose TV as medium to get marry, and then they can take care of their future also.

The motive to come on TV for marriage is not that difficult to find out. Here one will not only get fame, name or publicity but lot of money also. Dowry which is curse in society can be easily acquired on show and that also with dignity and fame. So whatever may be motive of contestant, it can be easily achieved through show.

As a viewer, what we are supposed to do apart from having daily dose of entertainment?

What Kind of contestant, should win this show?

A Girl:

A) Who has come to show just because she is not getting suitable guy outside because of some issue? Show is related to marriage, so she should win : is this a sufficient reason for her to be perfect bride?

B) Who has come for building her career only? She does not want to marry but want to win show to enhance career? Her objective is different and she has come to fulfill objective, but she can have all qualities of perfect bride also? She can be perfect partner to someone, but then she has to display those qualities on show. If she is not displaying perfect partner qualities on show ,then should she win show? Does one can win show by portraying herself as just a nice person on show, which meant to display qualities pertaining to perfect partner?

C) Who does not have respect for family of partner and values which partner expect? Most of us respect our parents and expect same from partner also. It is both way, whether a girl or a boy. If you give respect to your partner parents, you and your parents will get respect in return.

D) Who does not respect the views of her own family members? An adult girl has right to choose her partner herself and she can proved to be perfect partner for her choice of guy. We all must have seen many love marriages, without consent of parents. What are our values and what kind of perception we have for such persons, play an important role in our decision regarding a person who cannot be perfect daughter, can be perfect bride or not.

E) Who is depicting behavior of faithfulness to her partner? One who is respecting family decision as well as stands along with her partner also. Again our own values and our own perception regarding partner, play a main role in deciding that such person should win or not.
